Project Manager

Ryley is responsible for managing projects through all stages of construction to ensure that we build them to the highest standard of craftsmanship, on schedule, and within budget.

With over a decade of hands-on experience in metal fabrication, Ryley brings a deep repository of technical knowledge and a demonstrated ability to lead teams in tackling complex problems to accomplish project objectives. He is a quick study and attentive listener who can identify needs, marshal resources, and synthesize ideas into clear objectives. His experience includes estimating, risk assessment, developing and managing budgets, and improving processes with an emphasis on communication and collaboration.

If Ryley could have one superpower it would be the ability the correctly name any object. At work, he measures success by the level of critical thinking and creativity each individual member is able to contribute to the team, and by the lasting relationships with clients and contractors that follow his team from project to project. Outside of work, he measures success with an altimeter.

Ryley holds a BA in fiction writing from Elon University and once got a paid speaking gig at the annual convention of the Society of American Travel Writers. He realized pretty quickly that travel writers are parasites and embraced nonfiction studies in the genres of advanced welding, machining, naval architecture, drafting and construction management.
